Probationary Members
All new members will be considered probationary members for one (1) year, and be attested to by a physician as to their physical abilities to perform company services. During this period they will be required to meet attendance requirements for active membership status, learn the operation of each piece of equipment, conduct themselves in a manner that will not prejudice or discredit the company and attend the basic Fire Fighter Course. At the conclusion of the probationary period a committee comprised of the President, Trustees, and the Chief will recommend advancement to the Active Membership Category A. Probationary members have the right of voice but no vote during the probationary period.
